Form 941: What is it?

Form 941 is the Employer's Quarterly Federal Tax Return. You'll use this form to report:

• federal income taxes withheld from employees
• quarter-to-quarter adjustments
• the employer's share of federal employment taxes
• report employee wages
• employee tips
• employer and employee's share of SS/Medicare taxes

Filing the Form 941

You file the Form 941 quarterly. When this tax form is due, a link to it appears on your To Do list or the Quarterly Forms page. Simply click the link and follow the onscreen instructions.
