Forms: What if I manually submitted a tax form?

If you prepared and submitted a tax form manually outside Intuit Online Payroll, you should :

  1. Keep a copy of the (manually prepared) form for your records.
  2. View and print the corresponding form in Intuit Online Payroll:
You don't need to upload the manually prepared form into Intuit Online Payroll or change the form in Intuit Online Payroll to match your manually prepared form.
  3. Archive the form in Intuit Online Payroll. See Forms: Archive (save) a form that I have filed.
  4. Keep the form you printed from Intuit Online Payroll with the copy of the manually prepared form, so that you can see the differences between the two if you need to refer to them in the future.

If you submitted a tax payment manually along with the form, you should record the tax payment in Intuit Online Payroll. See Taxes: Recording a payment you made outside Intuit Online Payroll
