Following are instructions to send your payroll data from Intuit Full Service Payroll to QuickBooks through Intuit Sync Manager.
Before you start, make sure QuickBooks and your computer system are set up correctly.
Must not have Accountant’s copy out. This restricts the file and the ability to set up and/or sync transactions.
When you're ready, connect your Intuit Full Service Payroll account with QuickBooks using Sync Manager.
Mouse over the image or click here to see the image in a separate window.
To check, open your QuickBooks company file and press F2 to open the Product Information window.
If null is listed next to Company Realm ID, Sync Manager is not set up. Select I haven't set up Sync Manager yet and then continue to the next step.
For older versions of QuickBooks, choose Online Solutions > Manage Services > Set Up Intuit Sync Manager.
Sync Manager will then Sync your QuickBooks company file to IAC. The sync time varies based on file size and the progress meter may fluctuate. This is normal. Please be patient and let it do its thing.
In your QuickBooks company file, press F2. The Realm ID is listed in upper-right side of the window.
After Sync Manager is set up, you can start exporting your payroll transactions to QuickBooks.
