Export payroll transactions to QuickBooks
The way you export your payroll transactions to QuickBooks depends on the QuickBooks product you're using.
QuickBooks Desktop (IIF)
- On the Home page or the Payday Success page, click Export to QuickBooks.
- Click Export in the window that shows the number of paychecks and taxes that are included in the export file.
- Save the file to your computer.
For Windows users, DO NOT click Open or the file will become corrupted and will not import correctly.
We recommend that you always use the same file name and overwrite the previous export file to avoid duplication.
- From QuickBooks Desktop, choose File > Utilities > Import > IIF files. Select the .iif file you saved to your computer in step 4.
QuickBooks Mac Desktop 2016
