Relevé 1 overview

Issue Relevé 1 slips at the end of each year to report the annual remuneration (earnings) and withholdings (deductions) from your Québec employees' pay cheques.

Prepare both Relevé 1 slips and T4 slips for employees who work in Québec.

Before the end of February each year:

Prepare and give a Relevé 1 slip to each of your employees who works in Québec.
Submit your Relevé 1 slips along with your completed Relevé 1 Summary to Revenu Québec.Save copies of the slips and summary for your records.

If you are filing more than 50 Relevé 1 slips for a calendar year, you must file them as an XML file online through the Revenu Québec website.
