Print Relevé 1 slips for employees

For employees who work in Québec, prepare both Relevé 1 slips and T4 slips.

Use the Relevé 1 Summary in QuickBooks Online to help you fill out a Relevé 1 slips for each of your Québec employees. Give a Relevé 1 slip to each Québec employee before the end of February each year.

Give Relevé 1 slips to your Québec employees before the end of February each year. Before you print the slips, make sure all the information on them is correct — such as address, wage, taxes, and benefits.

  1. Make sure that you have the correct paper in your printer, and you have set up your printer to only print on one side of the paper.
  2. In the navigation bar, click Taxes > Payroll Tax.

  3. Click Annual Forms under Forms, and then click Relevé 1.
  4. Select the tax year you want to print Relevé 1 slips for.
  5. Click View to open the Relevé 1 slip in Adobe Acrobat.
  6. Make sure all the information is correct and close the window.
  7. Click Create. We automatically archive a copy of the form for your records.
  8. In Adobe Acrobat, print the slips and close the window.
  9. Print only on one side of the paper — you don't want to accidentally print another employees' information on the back side.

  10. Fill in any additional info on your employees' printed Relevé 1 slips.
  11. Give the printed copies to your employees before the end of February.
