Taxes: Deleting a payment

If you haven't yet approved the payment

If you aren't ready to make the tax payment and you haven't approved it, you can delete it and create it again when you are ready to pay it.

  1. Go here.
    (Or choose Taxes & Forms > Pay Taxes.)
    If you created a tax payment that you have not yet approved, you'll see a message with an approve link.
  2. Click the approve link.
  3. On the Approve Payment page, find the payment and click X in the Delete column.
  4. Click Yes to confirm.

If you have approved the payment

 

If you made a tax payment outside of Intuit Online Payroll, you can record the payment so that it no longer appears in the list of due taxes and the To Do list. See Taxes: Recording a payment you made outside Intuit Online Payroll.
