Pay by direct deposit

Direct deposit makes it easy to pay your employees and contractors. Once they're set up for direct deposit, all you need to do is submit the checks to Intuit and we'll do the rest.

Keep an eye on direct deposit submission deadlines. The cutoff time for direct deposits is typically 3 pm PT, two days before the check date.

Pay your employees by direct deposit

  1. Make sure to set up employees for direct deposit.
  2. Pay a regular paycheck or create an unscheduled check.
    After you submit the checks to Intuit, employees who are set up for ViewMyPaycheck will get an email notification.
  3. Print pay stubs (if you want to give them a paper stub)
    1. Click the Reports tab.
    2. Under Print Paychecks, click Print Pay Stubs.
    3. Select Last payroll from the Date Range list.
    4. Select All Employees from the Employees/Contractors list.
    5. Click Run Report.
    6. Select all or some of the employees in the report.
    7. Enter DD or another identifier in the Check/DD field to indicate this is a direct deposit check.
    8. Click Print and follow the instructions to print the pay stubs.

The funds will be available by the check date.
