Check your direct deposit status
It takes 2 to 3 business days to confirm and activate your bank account for direct deposit. You'll receive an email from us to confirm your direct deposit status.
To check the status of your direct deposit:
- Click your company name at the top right, and then click Payroll Settings.
- Click Direct Deposit under Payroll and Services.
- Look in the Action column in the Employer Info box. If you see Active, it means your direct deposit is all set up and ready to go.
Why does my employee's pay method say "Pending" direct deposit?
"Pending" direct deposit means one of the following:
- You need to enter your bank account information. See Set up your company for direct deposit.
- We haven't verified your account information yet.
- You haven't yet entered the employee's bank information.
To enter the employee's bank information:- In the left navigation bar, click Employees.
- Click the employee's name, and then click Edit employee.
- To change your bank info or select another way to pay your employee, click the pencil icon under How do you want to pay this employee?.
- Select one of the direct deposit payment methods under What do you want to use to pay this employee?.
- Enter the employee's bank information.
- Click OK.
