Service items are used in QuickBooks to describe the types of service your company provides. In Full Service Payroll, you can assign service items to payroll hours and costs as you create paychecks.
If you already track service items in QuickBooks, then your first step is to import your service items to Full Service Payroll. After creating paychecks, Sync Manager sends your service item costs back to QuickBooks. If you need to edit your list of service items, do so in QuickBooks. The next time you sync, the changes appear in Full Service Payroll.
