I don't see the Print pay cheques button. Where is it?

If you don't see the Print pay cheques button on the payroll confirmation page, then you haven't told QuickBooks how you want to print your cheques. Do you want to print them on preprinted cheque stock? Or do you want to hand write the cheques and print only the pay stubs?

To show the Print pay cheques button:

  1. Click your company name at the top right, and then click Payroll Settings.
  2. Under Company and Account, click Pay cheque Printing.
  3. Select how you want to print your pay cheques:
  4. Enter the number of copies to print.
  5. Select whether to print your business contact phone number on the pay stubs.
  6. Click OK. The Printer Setup page displays.
  7. Follow the onscreen instructions to test the paper alignment on your printer.

The next time you run payroll, you'll see the Print pay chequesbutton on the payroll confirmation page.
