If your pay date falls on a weekend or bank holiday, you must approve the direct deposit payroll early enough so that employees will receive their net pay on the prior banking day.
For example, if your pay date falls on a Saturday and you want employees receive their pay on Friday, you must approve payroll by Wednesday at 5 pm PT. If you approve payroll after that time, employees will likely receive their pay on Monday.
