Direct deposit: Checking your setup status

It takes 2–3 business days to confirm and activate your bank account for direct deposit. You'll receive an email from us to confirm your direct deposit status.

To check the status of your direct deposit:

  1. Go here.
    (Or click the Setup tab.)
  2. Click Direct Deposit under Payroll and Services.
  3. Choose Review, add, or edit direct deposit settings and then click Continue.
  4. Look in the Action column in the Employer Info box. If you see Active, it means your direct deposit is all set up and ready to go.

Why does my employee's pay method say "Pending" direct deposit?

"Pending" direct deposit means one of the following:
