Password: Changing

Changes to sign-in information like your password may affect other Intuit services you use, such as QuickBooks, TurboTax, or Mint.

1. Choose Setup > Preferences and then Change Sign-in Information.
2. Click Continue.

   The Intuit Accounts page opens in a different browser tab or window. As an extra layer of security, you'll be asked to sign in again and enter a confirmation code that we email you.

3. Sign in and get a confirmation code.

   1. On the Intuit Accounts page, enter your user ID and password, and then click Sign In.
   2. Choose how you'd like to receive your confirmation code and click Continue.
   3. Enter the confirmation code we sent to you by email.

      Can't find the email we sent you? Be sure to check your spam or junk folder. The confirmation code is good for about 24 hours.

   4. Click Continue.
4. Change your password and then click Save.
5. Close the Intuit Accounts tab or window.
6. Go back to your Intuit Online Payroll account and refresh the Change Sign-in Information page to see your changes.

1. Choose Setup > Preferences and then Change Password.
2. Type your old password, and then click Continue.
3. Enter a new password twice.
4. Give an answer your secret question. It can be your old answer, or you can set up a new secret question here.
5. Click Change Password.
