When will my tax agencies get my forms?

We file all electrically submitted forms by their due dates. We start transmitting forms after the reporting period ends. The actual date varies by form and agency.

Checking form status

If you are filing electronically, check your form status.

1. Go here.
   (Or click the Taxes & Forms tab.)
2. Click the appropriate category.
3. Click the form.

Forms W-2

We begin transmitting Forms W-2 to the agency in mid-March.

Due dates for forms

You can see the due dates (for forms that are due) on the To Do list.

Updating forms

If you need to update a form, you might still be able to make changes.

If you haven't yet, sign up for electronic services to make paying taxes and filing tax forms easier.
